Gorodetskiy leads Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) over Team Comcast (MM), 6-3

Georgy Gorodetskiy had two goals and one assist to lead Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) to a 6-3 victory over Team Comcast (MM).

Gorodetskiy scored at 17:40 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) and again while 3:40 into the third to make the score 5-3 Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM).

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 28 penalty minutes.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) forced Team Comcast (MM)'s goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 36 shots and forcing 30 saves. Justin Badurina made 13 stops and Benjamin Auerbach made 17. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Team Comcast (MM) to score on any of its eight power plays. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM)'s goal total was higher than its season average. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) has scored at the pace of 2.6 goals per game during the current campaign.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) additionally got points from Dino Balsamo, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Ron Cochran, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
