Sydney Ice Dogs survives Melbourne Ice comeback, wins 4-2

Sydney Ice Dogs survived a determined comeback attempt by Melbourne Ice on the way to a 4-2 win.

Sydney Ice Dogs took a 4-0 lead during the second period, only to have Melbourne Ice storm back on a Tommy Powell goal 6:23 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Sydney Ice Dogs' penalty kill excelled, as Sydney Ice Dogs gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.
