Joe Bordak had two goals and two assists to lead the Sugar Land Imperials to a 15-2 victory over :UT San Antonio.

Bordak's tallies came on the power play at 10:09 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Sugar Land and 16:47 into the first to make the score 3-0 Sugar Land.

:UT San Antonio's seven penalties came back to haunt it, as :UT San Antonio let up five goals while on the penalty kill.

Sugar Land made :UT San Antonio's goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 57 shots and forcing 42 saves. Jon Gleinser made 11 stops and Eric LeBlanc made 31. The Imperials found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, Sugar Land averages 5.7 goals per contest.

Sugar Land also got points from Eligah Bordak, who also tallied three goals and two assists, Cole Sharrah, who also registered one goal and one assist, Luke Simon, who also tallied three goals and two assists, Tucker Spooner, who also racked up two goals and three assists, Yves Bader, who also had one goal and one assist, and Avik Bordak, who also registered three goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Sugar Land were Zachary Blohm, who had one and Travis Wilson and Chance Rickel, who each chipped in three.

Derek Kreiger also scored for :UT San Antonio. In addition, :UT San Antonio received assists from Cody Gamble, who had one.

The Imperials' Colton Anderson stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Sugar Land incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. :UT San Antonio incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
