The Alexandria Blizzard could not stop the North Iowa Bulls' Timothy Santopoalo, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-2 win. Santopoalo got on the scoresheet 7:24 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:36 into the second and at 11:20 into the third.North Iowa excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.
