Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) held on for a 5-3 victory.

A goal by Andrew Romano put Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) up 5-2 in the second period, but Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) pulled to within two on Bryan Sienerth's tally 16:47 into the third period.
