Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) beats Team Comcast (MM) 4-2 after comeback scare

Team Comcast (MM) tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) held on for a 4-2 victory.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) took a 4-0 lead during the second period, only to have Team Comcast (MM) storm back on a Tim Feoli goal 13:30 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) was helped by Colin Valentine, who tallied one goal. Valentine scored 9:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). Kyle Martin provided the assist. Michael Merulla also scored for Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). More assists for Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) came via Andrew Romano, who had two and CJ Young and Brendan Jaquay, who each chipped in one.

Team Comcast (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) was unable to stop Team Comcast (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and Team Comcast (MM) eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Team Comcast (MM) also got a goal from Michael Ufberg as well. In addition, Team Comcast (MM) received assists from Nick Bohatiuk and Bryan Etter, who contributed one a piece.

Peyton Jones recorded 38 saves for Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Team Comcast (MM)'s starting goalie, Benjamin Auerbach, made nine saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Justin Badurina, who stopped six shots. Team Comcast (MM) incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
