Team Comcast (MM) beats Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) 2-0 as Auerbach gains shutout

Benjamin Auerbach was superb between the pipes for Team Comcast (MM), as he did not allow a goal in a 2-0 victory over Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM).

Team Comcast (MM)'s penalty kill excelled, as Team Comcast (MM) gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Team Comcast (MM) was paced by Tyler Wyatt, who racked up one goal. Wyatt scored 7:04 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Team Comcast (MM). Bobby Wurster provided the assist.

Team Comcast (MM) stifled Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team Comcast (MM) forced Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) goalie Blaine Brock to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Team Comcast (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.

Guy Roby also scored for Team Comcast (MM). In addition, Team Comcast (MM) received assists from Tim Feoli, who had one.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Team Comcast (MM) to score on any of its seven power plays. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s offense rang up 31 shots on Team Comcast (MM)'s net.

Auerbach recorded 31 saves for Team Comcast (MM). Blaine Brock made 31 saves for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) on 33 shots. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
