Detroit Fighting Irish boosted by Lewis' play in net, beats Berkley Bruins 6-1

Christopher Lewis stood on his head and made 30 saves to lead Detroit Fighting Irish to a 6-1 victory over Berkley Bruins.

Berkley Bruins' power play was ineffective against Detroit Fighting Irish's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Detroit Fighting Irish was led by Kyle Cobb, who grabbed one goal. Cobb scored 10:09 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Detroit Fighting Irish.

Detroit Fighting Irish made Berkley Bruins' goaltenders to work all game long, getting 45 shots and forcing 39 saves. Brandon Bawol made 16 stops and Kory Dombrowski made 23. Detroit Fighting Irish's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Berkley Bruins power plays.
