Detroit Fighting Irish relied on the scoring touch of Jacob Hernandez, who netted two goals, to beat Michigan Ice Dogs, 7-4. Colton Lewicki made 25 stops and Jacob Dugan made 12. Detroit Fighting Irish stifled Michigan Ice Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Detroit Fighting Irish found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Detroit Fighting Irish has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign.
