Alpena Street Cats tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Traverse City Hounds would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. Traverse City Hounds made the score 3-1 on a goal by Tyler Thirlby at 15:09 in the second period, and Alpena Street Cats got as close as 3-2 when Pavel Bocharov scored 15:29 into the third period.
