Young, Farmer lead Bloomington Jr Blaze over Detroit Fighting Irish, 6-3

Behind four goals from Micah Young and zero goals and four assists from Dylan Farmer, Bloomington Jr Blaze downed Detroit Fighting Irish 6-3.

Bloomington Jr Blaze's penalty kill excelled, as Bloomington Jr Blaze gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

Bloomington Jr Blaze surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Bloomington Jr Blaze has scored at the pace of 2.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Bloomington Jr Blaze also got a goal from Brock Drews as well. More assists for Bloomington Jr Blaze came via Jorey Skelton, who had two and Shane Olinger, John Urmetz, Justus Kree, Steven Smoltz, and Ty Gehrken, who contributed one a piece.

Detroit Fighting Irish forced Bloomington Jr Blaze goalie Cameron Lerner to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Detroit Fighting Irish gave up more goals than its normal season average.
