Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) on a clutch goal by Bryan Sienerth.

Sienerth had two goals to lead Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) to victory. Sienerth found the back of the net 4:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) and again while 48 seconds into the fourth to make the score 3-2 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM).

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM)'s power play was ineffective against Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) to score on any of its six power plays.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) also got a goal from Mitchell Campbell as well. More assists for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) came via Austin Lemieux, who had one.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) was helped by Logan Orem, who had one goal. Orem scored 6:28 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Nathan Krusko provided the assist.
