Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Team Comcast (MM) defeated Victory Honda (MM) in a shootout 6-5 (1-0 SO).

Team Comcast (MM) saw a two-goal lead disappear, but was able to secure the win in a shootout. Team Comcast (MM) made the score 5-3 on a goal by Tim Feoli at 9:28 in the third period. Victory Honda (MM) evened things up at 5-5 on a goal by Nathan Bryer at 17:52 in the third period.

Team Comcast (MM) made Victory Honda (MM)'s netminders to work without much rest, firing 41 shots and forcing 35 saves. Jake Kielly made 25 stops and Tyler Copp made 10. Team Comcast (MM) outdid its season average for goals scored. Team Comcast (MM) has scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign.
