Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) outlasts Colorado Rampage (MM), 3-2

The game between Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) and Colorado Rampage (MM) was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) emerged with a 3-2 win.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Mitch Fossier at 11:55 of the third period.

Nathan Krusko was all over the ice for Thunder AAA Hockey (MM), as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Krusko scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 7:08 into the first period to make the score 1-1. A boarding penalty on Mitch Porter had put Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) on the power play. Cody Thomas provided the assist. Krusko's next tally on the power play made the score 2-1 Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) with 18:13 left in the second period. Connor Wood picked up the assist.

Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Thunder AAA Hockey (MM) ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game.
