Sarah Hine had one point to lead xSTONEY CREEK to a 2-1 victory over AURORA.

xSTONEY CREEK excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. xSTONEY CREEK kept AURORA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Taylor Lemmon made 35 saves on 37 shots.

Rachael Smith also scored for xSTONEY CREEK. More assists for xSTONEY CREEK came via Rosie Heffernan (A)away), who had two and Kristin ONeill and Madison Field (A)home), who contributed one a piece.

xSTONEY CREEK's defense shut down AURORA's forwards for much of the game, and AURORA got off only 10 shots during the contest. AURORA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.

AURORA was led by Reagan Fuller, who scored the team's only goal. Fuller scored 14:27 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Maresa Benacquista picked up the assist.
