The game between WHITBY and WATERLOO was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end WHITBY emerged with a 3-2 win.

WHITBY gained the winning advantage on a goal by Alana Sims 13:35 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

WHITBY was led by Sims, who grabbed one goal.

WHITBY's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three WATERLOO power plays. WHITBY kept WATERLOO's goalie busy throughout the game, and Shea Tiley made 31 saves on 34 shots.

Others who scored for WHITBY included Emily Volpe and Hailey Noronha (C), who scored one goal each. More assists for WHITBY came via Madison Badeau, Jaime Grigsby, and Cassidy Vinkle, who each chipped in one.

WATERLOO was helped by Taylor Weber, who racked up one goal. Weber scored 1:30 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Kaelyn Toews provided the assist. Laura Irwin also scored for WATERLOO. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Taylor Walker and Karley Charette, who contributed one a piece.
