Behind a great game by Miranda Lantz, who had two goals and two assists, CAMBRIDGE defeated BRAMPTON, 4-2. Lantz scored at 8:36 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 11:38 into the second to make the score 3-2 CAMBRIDGE.CAMBRIDGE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five BRAMPTON power plays. CAMBRIDGE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. CAMBRIDGE also got points from Beatrice Harrietha, who also registered one goal and one assist and Emma Davidson (A), who also had one goal and two assists. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Laine Padovan, who had one and Morgan Rolph, who had two. CAMBRIDGE was unable to stop BRAMPTON from sending pucks towards the net, and BRAMPTON eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Penalties took their toll on BRAMPTON, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals. BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. BRAMPTON was helped by Christina Ieradi (A), who tallied one goal. Ieradi (A) scored 7:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BRAMPTON. Jessica Geddes picked up the assist. BRAMPTON also got a goal from Jillian Battista as well. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Morgen Kidney and Chelsea Ball, who contributed one a piece. Julia Vandyk recorded 29 saves for CAMBRIDGE. BRAMPTON's Katie Bidulka stopped 17 shots out of the 21 that she faced.
