Alysha Burriss was all over the ice for DURHAM WEST, as she tallied two goals in DURHAM WEST's 3-0 win over AURORA.

Burriss scored at 8:26 into the second period to make the score 1-0 DURHAM WEST and again while 8:25 into the third to make the score 2-0 DURHAM WEST.

DURHAM WEST stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. DURHAM WEST's offense rang up 34 shots on AURORA's net.

DURHAM WEST also got a goal from Claudia Black as well. Other players who recorded assists for DURHAM WEST were Meagan Lee, Hayley Flynn, Kennedy Marchment (C), Victoria Bugg (A), and Megan Quinn (A-home), who each chipped in one.

DURHAM WEST's defense shut down AURORA's forwards for much of the game, and AURORA got off only seven shots during the contest.

DURHAM WEST's Stephanie Sluys stopped seven shots out of the seven that she faced. DURHAM WEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Nicholle Kovach rejected 31 shots on goal for AURORA. AURORA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
