NEPEAN climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat BURLINGTON, 3-2. NEPEAN never led in the game until netting the game winner. NEPEAN trailed 2-0 after a goal by BURLINGTON's Jessie Rietveld at 8:48 in the first period. NEPEAN knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Josiane Pozzebon at 5:04 in the third period. NEPEAN scored the game winner at 15:37 in the third period on a goal by Pozzebon. NEPEAN was led by Dallis Ferguson, who finished with one goal and one assist. NEPEAN stifled BURLINGTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. NEPEAN's offense rang up 34 shots on BURLINGTON's net. The defensemen of NEPEAN were also effective in BURLINGTON's zone, and came away with two goals. Carolyn Williams also scored for NEPEAN. In addition, NEPEAN received assists from Alyssa Baker, Sam Cogan, Nicole Halladay (PU), and Sophie Contant, who contributed one a piece.
