In a game where neither team could get a cushion, BLUEWATER escaped with a 3-2 victory over BRAMPTON. BLUEWATER gained the winning advantage on a goal by Amanda Moore 13:47 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. BLUEWATER was sparked by Moore, who tallied one goal. BLUEWATER excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. BLUEWATER also got points from Taylor Philip, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. BLUEWATER also got a goal from Lauren Lefler as well. In addition, BLUEWATER received assists from Karley Campbell, who had two and Stacey Henshaw, Bradey Couwenberg, and Becky Higgs, who contributed one a piece. BRAMPTON stifled BLUEWATER's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BRAMPTON was helped by Jillian Battista, who grabbed one goal.
