Fournier's hat trick boosts OTTAWA over KINGSTON, 5-2

Katelyn Fournier netted a hat trick to lead OTTAWA over KINGSTON, 5-2.

Fournier notched her first tally 5:21 into the third period. He then added goals at 10:02 into the third and at 19:40 into the third.

OTTAWA kept KINGSTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Elizabeth Spinozzi made 27 saves on 32 shots. OTTAWA's goal total was higher than its season average. OTTAWA averages 2.5 goals per game.

OTTAWA also got points from Tasza Tarnowski (PU), who also had one goal and one assist and Rebecca Leslie (C), who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. More assists for OTTAWA came via Maggie Knott, Sophie Rodenburg (PU), Amanda Titus (A), and Caitlyn McLaren, who each chipped in one.

KINGSTON was led by Shelby Perry (A), who registered two goals. Perry (A) scored the first of her two goals at 6:37 into the third period to make the score 2-1 OTTAWA. Brianna Gaffney assisted on the tally. Perry (A)'s next tally made the score 2-2 with 12:27 left in the third period. Brenna Murphy picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for KINGSTON were Laura Turcotte, who had one.
