KINGSTON pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over SOUTHWEST on a clutch goal by Shelby Perry (A). Jensen Murphy frustrated SOUTHWEST's offense all game, and stopped 32 shots en route to a shutout. Murphy certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 3.34 entering the contest. Perry (A)'s game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 37 seconds in the fourth period. Kailey Peirson picked up the assist. KINGSTON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five SOUTHWEST power plays. In addition, KINGSTON received assists from Laura Turcotte, who had one. SOUTHWEST's offense rang up 32 shots on KINGSTON's net. KINGSTON incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. SOUTHWEST's Kayla Loberg stopped 27 shots out of the 28 that she faced. SOUTHWEST incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
