OTTAWA and BRAMPTON could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie. OTTAWA managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. OTTAWA ended up below its season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game. OTTAWA was helped by Rebecca Leslie (C), who grabbed one goal. Leslie (C) scored 6:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OTTAWA. Tasza Tarnowski (PU) provided the assist. OTTAWA also had goals scored by Maggie Knott and Amanda Titus (A), who each put in one. In addition, OTTAWA received assists from Kimiko Marinacci, who had two and Samantha Bouley, Leah Buchanan, and Riley Gibson, who contributed one a piece. BRAMPTON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three OTTAWA power plays. BRAMPTON was led by Chelsea Ball, who had one goal and one assist. Ball scored 7:55 into the second period to make the score 3-2 OTTAWA. Christina Ieradi assisted on the tally. BRAMPTON additionally got points from Jillian Battista, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Alicia Waddingham also scored for BRAMPTON. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Vanessa Tavares and Isabella Triolo, who each chipped in one. Shawlee Gaudreault recorded 22 saves for OTTAWA.
