Kennedy Marchment gave DURHAM WEST a 2-1 (OT) victory over LEASIDE when she scored 54 seconds into the extra period.

DURHAM WEST was paced by Marchment, who registered one goal.

DURHAM WEST managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. DURHAM WEST finished below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. DURHAM WEST kept LEASIDE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Karly Stratos made 42 saves on 44 shots.

DURHAM WEST also got a goal from Alysha Burriss as well. In addition, DURHAM WEST received assists from Claudia Black, Katrina Manoukarakis, and Lindsay Johnston, who each chipped in one.

LEASIDE did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 13 saves.

LEASIDE was led by Alyssa Connolly, who scored the team's only goal. Connolly scored 10:48 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kimberly Brown (PU) assisted on the tally.
