NEPEAN completes comeback, beats BLUEWATER, 4-3

NEPEAN climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat BLUEWATER, 4-3.

NEPEAN let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. NEPEAN took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Addi Halladay at 33 seconds in the third period. NEPEAN found itself down 2-0 after BLUEWATER's Bradey Couwenberg put the puck home at 12:25 in the first period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a goal by Karley Campbell at 2:38 in the third, NEPEAN got the game-winner from Halladay at 14:54 in the third period.

NEPEAN kept BLUEWATER's goalie busy throughout the game, and Carley Molnar made 28 saves on 32 shots.

NEPEAN additionally got points from Sam Cogan, who also tallied one goal and two assists. More assists for NEPEAN came via Katryne Villeneuve, Jenna MacDonald, Lindsay Eastwood, Josiane Pozzebon, and Sophie Contant, who each chipped in one.

BLUEWATER also got points from Lauren Lefler, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for BLUEWATER were Krystin Lawrence, Morgan McCann, and Kaila Pinkney, who contributed one a piece.

NEPEAN's Megan Halhed stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that she faced. NEPEAN incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. BLUEWATER incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
