Behind a great game by Amanda Titus (A), who had two goals, OTTAWA defeated BARRIE, 3-1.

Titus (A)'s tallies came at 7:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OTTAWA and 19:49 into the third to make the score 3-1 OTTAWA.

OTTAWA managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. OTTAWA ended up below its season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game.

BARRIE was led by Becca Chilvers, who scored the team's only goal. Chilvers scored 1:04 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Tara Morning provided the assist.

Tanya Winchcombe recorded 15 saves for OTTAWA. OTTAWA registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. BARRIE's Becka Verschuren stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that she faced. BARRIE avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays.
