Katryne Villeneuve grabbed one point to lead NEPEAN to a 3-1 victory over SOUTHWEST.

NEPEAN also got points from Jenna MacDonald, who also finished with one goal and one assist. NEPEAN also got a goal from Alyssa Baker as well. More assists for NEPEAN came via Josiane Pozzebon, who had two and Shana Alexander, Alison MacKenzie, and Lindsay Eastwood, who contributed one a piece.

SOUTHWEST's offense was handcuffed by NEPEAN's defensive play, and SOUTHWEST managed only 13 shots on goal during the game. SOUTHWEST's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as SOUTHWEST finished with 14 penalty minutes.

SOUTHWEST was led by Savannah Bouzide, who scored the team's only goal. Bouzide scored 8:00 into the third period to make the score 2-1 NEPEAN. Jenna Henry (PU) assisted on the tally.

Kira Bombay rejected 12 shots on goal for NEPEAN. NEPEAN incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. SOUTHWEST's Kayla Loberg stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that she faced. SOUTHWEST registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
