NEPEAN survived a determined comeback attempt by LONDON on the way to a 2-1 win.

NEPEAN made the score 2-0 on a goal by Jenna MacDonald at 7:49 in the second period, and LONDON got as close as 2-1 when April Clark scored 5:48 into the third period.

NEPEAN was paced by MacDonald, who tallied one goal.

NEPEAN excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Blake Orosz also scored for NEPEAN. In addition, NEPEAN received assists from Katryne Villeneuve and Alison MacKenzie, who each chipped in one.

Megan Halhed recorded 21 saves for NEPEAN. NEPEAN incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Lauren Dubie made 21 saves for LONDON on 23 shots. LONDON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
