CAMBRIDGE erases deficit to stun BLUEWATER, 4-3

CAMBRIDGE climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat BLUEWATER, 4-3.

CAMBRIDGE never led in the game until netting the game winner. CAMBRIDGE was down 3-1 after a goal by BLUEWATER's Kaila Pinkney at 6:41 in the second period. CAMBRIDGE knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Aylssa Chiarello at 7:39 in the third period. CAMBRIDGE scored the game winner at 10:24 in the third period on a goal by Chiarello.

Angela MacDonald was all over the ice for CAMBRIDGE, as she tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

CAMBRIDGE additionally got points from Rachel Holden, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Rebecca Haddaway, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Jackie Haalboom, Emma Davidson, and Amanda McClure, who contributed one a piece.

BLUEWATER struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

BLUEWATER was led by Lauren Lefler, who finished with one goal and two assists. Lefler scored 2:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Karley Campbell picked up the assist. BLUEWATER also got points from Campbell, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for BLUEWATER were Becky Higgs, who had one.

Lauren Webber made 24 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 27 shots. CAMBRIDGE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Molly Jenkins recorded 20 saves for BLUEWATER. BLUEWATER registered two goals on four power play opportunities.
