BRAMPTON beats ETOBICOKE 5-1 as Hartwick gets hat trick

Brooke Hartwick netted a hat trick to lead BRAMPTON over ETOBICOKE, 5-1.

Hartwick got on the scoresheet 10:14 into the third period. He then added goals at 17:56 into the third and at 19:57 into the third.

BRAMPTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. BRAMPTON kept ETOBICOKE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Sarah Jamieson made 30 saves on 35 shots. BRAMPTON outdid its season average for goals scored. BRAMPTON has scored at the pace of 2.6 goals per game during the current campaign.

BRAMPTON additionally got points from KJ Uyeno (A), who also had one goal and one assist and Isabella Triolo, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, BRAMPTON received assists from Kassidy Nauboris (PU), Meagan OBrien, Alicia Waddingham, and Chelsea Ball, who contributed one a piece.

ETOBICOKE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow BRAMPTON to score on any of its three power plays. ETOBICOKE's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. ETOBICOKE gives up 2.4 goals per game.
