WHITBY survived a determined comeback attempt by BURLINGTON on the way to a 2-1 win.

WHITBY made the score 2-0 on a goal by Rhyen McGill at 2:55 in the second period, and BURLINGTON got as close as 2-1 when Tayor Reichheld (PU) scored 7:37 into the third period.

McGill had two goals to lead WHITBY to victory.

WHITBY's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four BURLINGTON power plays.

In addition, WHITBY received assists from Kirsten Welsh, Madison Badeau, and Alana Sims (PU), who contributed one a piece.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.
