BARRIE found itself down againt BURLINGTON, but battled back to secure to a 2-2 (OT) tie.

BURLINGTON was led by Maggie Spratt-Mallick, who finished with one goal and one assist. Spratt-Mallick scored 4:48 into the second period to make the score 2-0 BURLINGTON. Shana Toale assisted on the tally. Tayor Reichheld (PU) also scored for BURLINGTON. Other players who recorded assists for BURLINGTON were Logan Land and Tristyn Svetek, who contributed one a piece.

BARRIE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

BARRIE was helped by Becca Chilvers, who registered one goal. Chilvers scored 4:43 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BURLINGTON. Tara Morning picked up the assist. BARRIE also got a goal from Kara Washer (PU) as well. In addition, BARRIE received assists from Kirsten MacDougall and Alex Bond, who each chipped in one.

BURLINGTON's EJ Milne-Price stopped 28 shots out of the 30 that she faced. BURLINGTON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Alexx Ridding recorded 28 saves for BARRIE. BARRIE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
