CAMBRIDGE hangs on, beats STONEY CREEK 2-0

CAMBRIDGE took the lead against STONEY CREEK in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory.

Laine Padovan provided CAMBRIDGE with the game-winning tally when she scored 4:50 into the the first period. Brooklyn Davis provided the assist.

CAMBRIDGE was boosted by Julia Vandyk, who turned in a shutout with 25 saves. Vandyk certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 2.88 entering the contest.
