BRAMPTON holds on for 4-3 win against KINGSTON

BRAMPTON survived a determined comeback attempt by KINGSTON on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Isabella Triolo put BRAMPTON up 3-1 in the third period, but KINGSTON pulled to within one on Kailey Peirson's tally 5:45 into the third period.

Triolo and Emily Landry (PU) provided the spark for BRAMPTON, combining for three goals and one assist. Triolo grabbed two goals and Landry (PU) also added one goal and one assist.

BRAMPTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow KINGSTON to score on any of its seven power plays. BRAMPTON forced KINGSTON goalie Jensen Murphy to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. BRAMPTON got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

BRAMPTON also got points from Alessia Pasquariello, who also had one goal and one assist and Landry (PU), who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for BRAMPTON came via Chelsea Ball, who had two and Vanessa Tavares and Meagan OBrien, who each chipped in one.

KINGSTON's offense rang up 33 shots on BRAMPTON's net.

KINGSTON additionally got points from Natalie Graham (PU), who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, KINGSTON received assists from Laura Turcotte, Brenna Murphy, and Mariah Wilson, who contributed one a piece.

Isabelle Hunter made 30 saves for BRAMPTON on 33 shots. BRAMPTON incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Murphy recorded 27 saves for KINGSTON. KINGSTON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
