TORONTO had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over LEASIDE.

TORONTO's Sarah Stephens was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Despite the solid performance, Stephens will actually see her goals against average rise, as it stood at 0.78 entering the contest.

Connor Galway (PU) was all over the ice for TORONTO, as she tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Galway (PU) scored 10:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO. Loren Gabel provided the assist.

TORONTO excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. TORONTO kept LEASIDE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Karen Morenz made 40 saves on 46 shots. TORONTO's goal total was higher than its season average. TORONTO has scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

TORONTO also got points from Jessie Eldridge, who also had one goal and one assist, Taytum Clairmont, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Amanda Pantaleo, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
