WHITBY relied on the scoring touch of Cassidy Vinkle, who netted two goals, to beat LONDON, 2-0.

Vinkle found the back of the net 11:26 into the second period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY and again while 5:57 into the third to make the score 2-0 WHITBY.

WHITBY put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LONDON to score on any of its three power plays.
