OAKVILLE tried to dig itself out of a five-goal hole, but NEPEAN held on for a 5-3 victory. NEPEAN took a 5-0 lead during the second period, only to have OAKVILLE storm back on a Christina Putigna goal 14:14 into the third period to pull to two goals down. OAKVILLE fell victim to a deadly NEPEAN power play, which ripped OAKVILLE for four goals. NEPEAN was helped by Addi Halladay, who finished with one goal and one assist. Halladay scored 3:31 into the second period to make the score 4-0 NEPEAN. Sam Cogan provided the assist. NEPEAN additionally got points from Katryne Villeneuve, who also registered one goal and one assist and Alison MacKenzie, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for NEPEAN included Jenna MacDonald and Sophie Contant, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for NEPEAN were Dallis Ferguson and Lindsay Eastwood, who each chipped in one. OAKVILLE's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. OAKVILLE gives up 2.5 goals per game. OAKVILLE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. OAKVILLE also got a goal from Rebecca Daniel as well. More assists for OAKVILLE came via Lauren Patterson, Lauren Webb, Lauren Carroll, Kirsten Miller, and Cassidy MacPherson (PU), who contributed one a piece.
