Boyd's goals lift BURLINGTON to 2-0 victory over OTTAWA

Logan Boyd was all over the ice for BURLINGTON, as she tallied two goals in BURLINGTON's 2-0 win over OTTAWA.

Boyd scored at 6:11 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BURLINGTON and again while 18 seconds into the third to make the score 2-0 BURLINGTON.

Elijah Milne-Price spearheaded the defensive effort for BURLINGTON, as she did not allow a puck past him and made 29 saves for the shutout. Milne-Price managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 2.11 prior to the game.

BURLINGTON managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. BURLINGTON wound up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game.

Other players who recorded assists for BURLINGTON were Jessie Rietveld, Jessica Cutting, Karleigh Scully (PU), and Maggie Spratt-Mallick, who contributed one a piece.
