WHITBY had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over OTTAWA.

Jamie Grigsby (PU) was all over the ice for WHITBY, as she tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Grigsby (PU) scored the first of her two goals at 10:30 into the second period to make the score 2-0 WHITBY. Megan Picco (PU) picked up the assist. Grigsby (PU)'s next tally made the score 3-0 WHITBY with 8:03 left in the second period. CJ Tipping assisted on the tally.

WHITBY was led by goalie Hannah Baker, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. Baker certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 2.35 entering the contest.

WHITBY excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. WHITBY's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
