BLUEWATER completes comeback, beats TORONTO, 3-2

BLUEWATER rallied from two goals down to secure a 3-2 win over TORONTO.

BLUEWATER never led in the game until netting the game winner. BLUEWATER was down 2-0 after a goal by TORONTO's Cora Constantinou at 5:50 in the second period. BLUEWATER tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Karley Campbell at 2:25 in the third period. BLUEWATER scored the game winner at 19:41 in the third period on a goal by Campbell.

In the losing effort, TORONTO was sparked by Constantinou, who registered two goals. Constantinou scored the first of her two goals at 2:44 into the second period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO. Kaitlin Tse provided the assist. Constantinou's next tally made the score TORONTO with 14:10 left in the second period. Sarah Knee assisted on the tally.

BLUEWATER's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three TORONTO power plays.

BLUEWATER was led by Morgan McCann, who racked up one goal and one assist. BLUEWATER also got a goal from Abby Dortmans as well. In addition, BLUEWATER received assists from Lauren Lefler, who had two and Stacey Henshaw and Kaila Pinkney, who each chipped in one.

TORONTO excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Julia Fedeski, who had one.

Carley Molnar recorded 24 saves for BLUEWATER. BLUEWATER incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. TORONTO's Ally Sarna stopped 19 shots out of the 22 that she faced. TORONTO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
