TORONTO outlasts BRAMPTON, 4-2

The game between TORONTO and BRAMPTON was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end TORONTO emerged with a 4-2 win.

TORONTO gained the winning advantage on a goal by Cora Constantinou 25 seconds into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Jessie Eldridge was all over the ice for TORONTO, as she tallied two goals in the win. Eldridge found the back of the net 10:34 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 9:44 into the third to make the score 4-2 TORONTO.

TORONTO also got points from Jessica Gazzola, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Constantinou, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Grace Wickens, Connor Galway (PU), Lauren Wildfang, and Taytum Clairmont, who contributed one a piece.

BRAMPTON stifled TORONTO's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BRAMPTON's offense was handcuffed by TORONTO's defensive play, and BRAMPTON managed only 13 shots on goal during the game.

BRAMPTON was helped by Jillian Battista, who registered one goal. Battista scored 9:25 into the second period to make the score 2-2. BRAMPTON also got a goal from Vanessa Tavares as well. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Isabella Triolo and Chelsea Ball, who each chipped in one.

Ally Sarna recorded 11 saves for TORONTO. TORONTO incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Katie Bidulka rejected 24 shots on goal for BRAMPTON. BRAMPTON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
