Elizabeth Spinozzi made 28 saves to complete the shutout and led KINGSTON to a 3-0 win against SOUTHWEST.

KINGSTON was led by Kailey Peirson, who tallied one goal. Peirson scored 3:54 into the second period to make the score 1-0 KINGSTON. Brianna Gaffney assisted on the tally.

KINGSTON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three SOUTHWEST power plays. KINGSTON's defensive play was more effective than usual against SOUTHWEST. KINGSTON averages 2.6 goals allowed per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

KINGSTON also got a goal from Brenna Murphy as well. Other players who recorded assists for KINGSTON were Jaclyn Bastedo, who had two and Shelby Perry (A) and Ally Davies, who each chipped in one.

SOUTHWEST excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.
