BURLINGTON's Jessie Rietveld had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing three assists in her team's 5-1 win over LEASIDE.

Rietveld beat Karly Stratos with a shot 8:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 BURLINGTON. Darcy Henderson provided the assist. Rietveld dished an assist on Logan Boyd's goal that made the score 1-1 at 9:06 into the first period. He then added assists on Shana Toale's goal at 7:26 into the third and on Boyd's goal at 9:13 into the third.

LEASIDE's power play was ineffective against BURLINGTON's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

BURLINGTON found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. BURLINGTON averages 2.3 goals per game.

Logan Land also scored for BURLINGTON. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Claire Anderson, who had one and Tristyn Svetek, who had three.

LEASIDE was led by Alex MacKinnon (PU), who scored the team's only goal. MacKinnon (PU) scored 1:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LEASIDE. Anthea Lasis assisted on the tally.

Kyra OBrien recorded 17 saves for BURLINGTON. BURLINGTON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. LEASIDE's Stratos stopped 20 shots out of the 25 that she faced. LEASIDE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
