WATERLOO survived a determined comeback attempt by BLUEWATER on the way to a 4-2 win. A goal by Hannah Davidson put WATERLOO up 4-1 in the third period, but BLUEWATER pulled to within two on Morgan McCann's tally 17:53 into the third period. WATERLOO was led by Taylor Walker, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Walker scored 11:58 into the second period to make the score 3-1 WATERLOO. Davidson provided the assist. WATERLOO excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. WATERLOO did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 11 shots on net to force seven saves. WATERLOO got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. WATERLOO additionally got points from Kaitlyn Hanson, who also had one goal and one assist and Davidson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Mary Worndl also scored for WATERLOO.
