BARRIE's Becca Chilvers scored 1:46 into overtime to beat OTTAWA, 2-1 (OT).

BARRIE was led by goalie Alexx Ridding, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Ridding managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.77 prior to the game.

OTTAWA's power play was ineffective against BARRIE's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

BARRIE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OTTAWA to score on any of its six power plays. BARRIE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

BARRIE also got a goal from Mackenzie Blais as well. Other players who recorded assists for BARRIE were Tory Harshman and Desiree Robitaille, who each chipped in one.

OTTAWA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four BARRIE power plays. OTTAWA's offense rang up 33 shots on BARRIE's net.

OTTAWA was led by Amanda Ieradi, who scored the team's only goal. Ieradi scored 11:48 into the third period to make the score 1-0 OTTAWA. Katelyn Fournier provided the assist.

Tanya Winchcombe rejected 28 shots on goal for OTTAWA. OTTAWA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
