CAMBRIDGE pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over TORONTO on a clutch goal by Rachel Holden.

CAMBRIDGE was led by goalie Julia Vandyk, who finished with 53 saves while allowing one goal. Vandyk managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 2.29 prior to the game.

CAMBRIDGE was sparked by Holden, who finished with one goal. Holden scored 2:07 into overtime to make the score 2-1 CAMBRIDGE. Kaileigh Grant provided the assist.

CAMBRIDGE stifled TORONTO's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. CAMBRIDGE's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as CAMBRIDGE finished with 14 penalty minutes.

Shannon Pearson (PU) also scored for CAMBRIDGE. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Beatrice Harrietha and Amanda McClure, who contributed one a piece.

TORONTO's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six CAMBRIDGE power plays. TORONTO could not produce up to it normal offensive output. TORONTO averages 3.6 goals per game. CAMBRIDGE was unable to stop TORONTO from sending pucks towards the net, and TORONTO eventually piled up 54 shots on goal.

TORONTO was led by Jessie Eldridge, who scored the team's only goal. Eldridge scored 11:08 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Cora Constantinou picked up the assist.

TORONTO's Ally Sarna stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that she faced. TORONTO incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
