BLUEWATER and OTTAWA could not settle their match and fought to a 2-2 tie.

BLUEWATER excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

BLUEWATER was helped by Becky Higgs, who tallied one goal. Higgs scored 6:53 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Shailyn Waites assisted on the tally. BLUEWATER also got a goal from Krystin Lawrence as well. More assists for BLUEWATER came via Kaila Pinkney, who had one.

OTTAWA stifled BLUEWATER's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

OTTAWA was helped by Rebecca Leslie (C), who registered one goal. Leslie (C) scored 4:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OTTAWA. Leah Buchanan picked up the assist. Amanda Titus (A) also scored for OTTAWA. In addition, OTTAWA received assists from Stacy Galasso and Riley Gibson, who each chipped in one.

BLUEWATER's Carley Molnar stopped 17 shots out of the 19 that she faced. BLUEWATER incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Tanya Winchcombe made 22 saves for OTTAWA on 24 shots. OTTAWA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
