Rebecca Leslie (C) finished with two points to lead OTTAWA to a 2-1 victory over SOUTHWEST.

OTTAWA stifled SOUTHWEST's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. SOUTHWEST was unable to stop OTTAWA from sending pucks towards the net, and OTTAWA eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Samantha Bouley also scored for OTTAWA. In addition, OTTAWA received assists from Leah Buchanan and Caileah Forrest, who contributed one a piece.

SOUTHWEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OTTAWA to score on any of its four power plays.

SOUTHWEST was led by Muna Fadel, who scored the team's only goal. Fadel scored 2:31 into the second period to make the score 1-0 SOUTHWEST. Amy Maitre provided the assist.
