WATERLOO shrugs off penalties, upends BRAMPTON, 3-1

BRAMPTON failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and WATERLOO shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1.

WATERLOO was sparked by Mary Worndl, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Worndl scored 15:48 into the third period to make the score 2-1 WATERLOO. Taylor Weber assisted on the tally.

WATERLOO found itself short handed often, totaling 14 penalty minutes and allowing six power plays.

WATERLOO additionally got points from Laura Irwin, who also racked up one goal and one assist. WATERLOO also got a goal from Hannah Davidson as well. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Amber Sealey and Lindsay Dales, who contributed one a piece.

BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.
