DURHAM WEST had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over SOUTHWEST. DURHAM WEST was led by Stephanie Ford, who grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for DURHAM WEST came via Alysha Burriss, who had two and Samantha McKenzie, Kennedy Marchment, Lindsay Johnston, Becki Bowering, and Megan Quinn, who each chipped in one. SOUTHWEST could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game. Stephanie Sluys rejected 19 shots on goal for DURHAM WEST. DURHAM WEST incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Hanna Slater made 20 saves for SOUTHWEST on 25 shots.
